no bellows jpegNo Bellows is completely acoustic. The duo’s focus was on creating textures and vectors without the input of synthesisers. The compositions that came out of these recordings are no less abstract, but they move to a slower inner clock and deriving drving impulses from within themselves. The album’s title is a reflection on the endlessness of a bowed string, as opposed to the phraseology of breath driven instrument (reeds, voice, brass), but also on the pre-industrial origins of cello and hurdy-gurdy.
